Better tools, better care

Raising awareness about cancer-related lymphedema is essential for several reasons, particularly in improving patient outcomes and quality of life. This is why specific Instruments like the LymphScanner™, the MoistureMeterD™ 4 probes, and the SkinFibroMeter™ play a critical role.

The LymphScanner™ is an Instrument that uses high-frequency, low-power electromagnetic waves to assess localized Percentage of Water (PWC). This technology is called the Tissue Dielectric Constant (TDC), only shaking the water molecules.

It is very accurate, with a 2% detection variance, and combined with the water displacement method, it demonstrates twice the sensitivity compared to any other technology.

It detects and quantifies changes in lymphatic tissue. It helps in identifying fluid accumulation in early stages, even before visible swelling appears, and supports routine monitoring and treatment adjustment.

The MoistureMeterD™ 4 probes measures the Tissue Dielectric Constant (TDC), which reflects local tissue water content. It is directly proportional to the amount of water in the tissue. The TDC value increases with increasing water content and edema.

The 4 probes allow for multi-depth analysis (e.g., 0.5 mm to 5 mm), providing a detailed picture of water retention in various skin layers.

It is Ideal for detecting subclinical lymphedema and tracking treatment response.

The SkinFibroMeter™ assesses skin induration, which is an indicator of fibrosis, a later-stage complication of lymphedema. It uses a pressure sensor, or indenter, to quantify skin resistance, aiding in distinguishing between fluid accumulation and fibrotic changes.

It supports long-term monitoring and treatment efficacy evaluation, especially in chronic cases.

It is the only Instrument assessing induration in absolute unit of resistance (Newton) and measures subcutaneous tissue resistance in quantitive unit.

These 3 unique Instruments using cutting-edge technologies are non-invasive assessment tools providing accurate and precise results. They are capable of detecting subclinical or early-stage lymphedema, allowing for preventive intervention before visible swelling or tissue damage occurs.

They are valuable for ongoing monitoring, helping clinicians assess how lymphedema evolves and how it responds to personalized therapies.

Their detailed assessments enable tailored treatment strategies, adjusting therapy based on real-time data about tissue fluid, fibrosis, or skin changes.

Lightweight and compact, these Instruments can measure and assess any part of the body and in any position, providing instant results that enhance user-friendliness and serve as a powerful trio for the comprehensive evaluation and management of lymphedema across various stages and tissue types.
