A powerful step forward lymphedema care with the LymphScanner, thank you NLN 2025
The National Lymphedema Network (NLN) is one of the most respected and influential organizations dedicated to improving the care and lives of people affected by lymphedema. Its work directly supports healthcare providers, researchers, patients, and advocacy efforts.
Being involved with the NLN is a strategic choice for Skinlabs, representing Delfin’s LymphScanner Instrument, to bring more awareness about Lymphedema and its consequences on people’s well-being and everyday life. It gives us the opportunity to meet with the main actors combatting cancer-related treatments and offer them a unique solution to effectively fight this life-altering condition.
We can build relationships with CLTs, researchers and clinics opening doors for in-practice validation, referrals, or trials. It allows us to stay ahead in technology and reimbursement policy.
The NLN Conference is not only the most influential educational gathering in the field—it’s where innovation meets clinical excellence.
You get the best of both worlds—expert-led workshops and direct access to the latest tools in lymphedema care.
One workshop specifically was led by Cheryl Brunelle, PT, CLT-LANA, Associate Director of the Lymphedema Research Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. Cheryl brought decades of frontline research and clinical insight to the stage, and her session explored skin physiology assessment tools that are changing the way we monitor and manage lymphedema.
One of the key technologies discussed was the Tissue Dielectric Constant (TDC) measurement—the core of Delfin’s LymphScanner.
The session emphasized real-world application, helping clinicians understand how to integrate our technology into their own screening workflows.
What is the TDC? |
The TDC (Transepidermal Water Loss) patented technology within the LymphScanner is an objective measurement of percentage Water content (PWC), delivering accurate, real-time insight.
Setting a new standard in lymphedema assessment for clinicians, the LymphScanner has the ability to deliver fast, reliable, and objective data directly at the point of care.
It provides a noninvasive, reproducible measurement of local tissue water—making it a powerful tool for early detection, treatment monitoring, and clinical decision-making in lymphedema management.
Compact, lightweight and easy to operate, the LymphScanner fits seamlessly into your workflow, enhances documentation, and supports evidence-based care without adding complexity.
Unlike BIS, The LymphScanner is the only Instrument measuring, assessing and monitoring lymphedema in any position and on any part of the body*—allowing clinicians to detect and monitor lymphedema in areas no other technology can reach.

Its TDC technology delivers unmatched accuracy in identifying subtle fluid changes, even in complex or early-stage presentations. Tailored for clinical precision, the LymphScanner is the bespoke, ultimate solution for lymphedema detection and ongoing assessment—elevating care where it matters most.
Skinlabs and Delfin Instruments were proud to take part in the NLN Conference 2025, where the LymphScanner stood out as a breakthrough solution in localized lymphedema assessment.
From expert-led workshops—like the insightful session by Cheryl Brunelle of MGH—to live, hands-on demos at our booth, attendees saw firsthand how the TDC technology enables precise, point-specific measurement where other tools fall short.
We thank the NLN and the CLT community for the incredible engagement and shared commitment to advancing care for those living with lymphedema.
Our goal is to establish ourselves as a partner in lymphedema care, supporting clinical excellence, reimbursement advocacy, and enhancing patient outcomes.
